Dundee HQ
A CHANGE OF PLANS
The original plan for our headquarters was Dunfermline.
It was the perfect choice on paper.
- Wide open spaces for growth.
- Existing hub for other global brands.
- Great infrastructure
It was also the de facto capital of the Kingdom of Scotland between the 11th and 15th centuries. Made poetic sense for it to be The Global Village Headquarters.

But, the team fell in love with Dundee at first sight!

DUNDEE OR NOTHING
​
The very first visit to Dundee was for a student mentoring talk. The drive into Dundee from St. Andrews sealed the deal, irrevocably. The headquarters were going to be in Dundee and nowhere else.
​
Commercial Street with its easy access to transport hubs was going to be the Village nerve centre. Over time, it has proven to be one of the monumental decisions in our rapid growth and worldwide expansion.
The city gave us with unprecedented access to business networks, recruitment opportunities, and more.

At The Global Village, we are in love with the heart and soul of a vibrant city set in the heart of Scotland. So much so, being The Dundonian, took on a life of its own. ​​​
SANTINIKETAN HUB
Santiniketan, West Bengal is our original base of operations.
With over 6000 sq. ft. of space and surrounded by an orchard, its a sprawling complex.

The Global Village extensive properties under management which allows is to expand and grow not only own brands but equally enable global expansion capabilities for all our clients. We can start operations (production/manufacturing/others) across UK, India and USA within 30 days (terms and conditions apply).
ROANOKE HUB
Roanoke is a vibrant city and economic hub. Our office and studio space is being set up.
All our locations choices share similar attributes. A rich history, technical and innovation hub, along with proximity to great universities. Roanoke was the obvious choice that checked every box on the location checklist.

But Roanoke is also one of the best examples our values in action. In 2008, our founder led a transition team to offshore from one of the largest companies in the area. This led to the loss of over 200 jobs from a single employer. This set off a domino effect. As these employees began withdrawing from local events like cancelling tickets for art shows, or theatre, etc. These local intuitions lost their business and in turn had to cut jobs. In short, devastating people and communities alike.

While it was a big success and led to jobs in India. Three years on these jobs were moved overnight to Philippines. Once again leaving Indian employees without jobs and scrambling to provide for their own families. Another domino effect of devasted communities. Sadly, the hustle for a lower cost centre continues from one country to another..
